Obama Approves Expansion of War with CIA's Drone Program in Pakistan

The Predators and Reapers are operated by a squadron of pilots in Nevada and are equipped to drop Hellfire missiles and JDAM bombs, respectively.

The PREDATOR is an unmanned drone, originally designed for surveillance. It was later modified and armed with Hellfire missiles.

Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles (UCAV).

Since Obama has taken office he has authorized over 15 drone strikes in Pakistan.

July 24, 2009 - Obama signed Iraq and Afghanistan War Supplemental Appropriations amounting to $106 billion.
October 28, 2009 - Obama signed the $680 billion 2010 National Defense Authorization Act which includes another $130 billion to fund what his administration now calls overseas contingency operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Of course Obama's spending spree is welcomed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. They are the defense contractor that manufactures the Predator, and its more heavily armed version, the Reaper. War profiteers are going to welcome Obama's business, as each Predator costs $40 million.

With the deployment of an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan and the escalation of drone warfare in Pakistan, is it possible to destroy our economy any faster, than with the horrible foreign and economic policies we've seen from Barack Hussein Obama? Sure it is. Obama and Congress recently approved a $7.5 billion aid package for Pakistan in a bid to strengthen the civilian government there. When will the spending STOP?

African Americans march in D.C. against Barack Hussein Obama

Hundreds of African Americans marched on the White House today to protest the policies of President Barack Obama, demanding he rescind the Patriot Act and that he bring U.S. troops home immediately.

The protesters gathered for the first anti-war demonstration by African Americans against the Obama administration since his inauguration in January, and voiced their dissatisfaction of the president's agenda for continuing what they described as Washington's "imperialist" agenda around the world. Truth is, by bringing home our military troops from the 130 countries they are occupying, we could save $1 trillion a year. A wise man once said:

Omali Yeshitela, who arranged the protest, said:

• "He is a tool of our imperialist enemies and we demand our freedom. And we demand that Obama withdraw all the troops from Afghanistan right now."

"We're not satisfied with him." said New York city councilman from the 42nd district, Charles Barron.

Protesters also called for Obama to order troops out of Iraq, Palestine, and the Middle East! Several demonstrators held up placards bearing messages such as "U.S. out of Afghanistan" and "Stop U.S. war against Iraq".

"Everyone assumes America must play the leading role in crafting some settlement or compromise between the Israelis and the Palestinians. But Jefferson, Madison, and Washington explicitly warned against involving ourselves in foreign conflicts."

The Gold Rush Begins

Gold hit a new all time high today of $1,044 per ounce and it looks like this break out above $1,000 could be permanent. While this may be a new all time high in nominal terms, adjusted for inflation gold's high in 1980 of $850 equates to $2,300 per ounce in today's dollars. We believe the inflationary crisis we are rapidly approaching will be much worse than the inflation of the 1970's. Therefore, $2,300 per ounce gold could be here sooner than anybody thinks is possible.

There are news reports today that Saudi states are meeting with countries like China and Japan in order to end dollar-based oil transactions and begin transacting oil using a new basket of currencies. It is the U.S. dollar's status as the world's reserve currency and the fact that foreign nations are forced to trade oil and other commodities in U.S. dollars, that has kept the U.S. economy propped up until now.

Up until today, foreign countries have been forced to hold huge U.S. dollar reserves which has allowed the U.S. to sell an increasing supply of U.S. Treasuries and thereby export its inflation to the rest of the world. Soon, foreign countries will no longer have a reason to hold U.S. dollars and there will be no interest in buying our debt. Almost all of the U.S. government's deficit spending will have to be paid for by outright money printing by the Federal Reserve.

Barack Obama supports bill that gives immunity to telecommunications companies that helped the Bush Administration spy on Americans

The measure, H.R. 6304, the FISA Amendments Act of 2008, condones the actions of telecommunications companies that cooperated with illegal warrantless surveillance after 9/11 by virtually assuring the dismissal of the dozens of lawsuits pending against them. And it invites future abuses by failing to give the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court the authority to protect law-abiding Americans from being spied on by their government.

Congress has now made it far too easy for spy agencies to vacuum up data from private phone calls and e-mails without meaningful oversight by an independent court. The bill fails at the most fundamental level to restore the independent judicial check on executive power that the Bush administration has done so much to undermine.

• Barack Obama voted in favor of this bill that gives immunity to telecoms that have aided illegal government surveillance in the past.
• Barack Obama voted in favor of this new law that gives the government the power to conduct dragnet surveillance that has no connection to terrorism or criminal activity of any kind.
• Barack Obama voted in favor of this law that is fundamentally inconsistent with the Constitution and with the most basic values of the Republic we live in.
